Carriera is proud to be partnering with a highly respected independent Built Environment consultancy to appoint a Project Surveyor / Late APC Building Surveyor into its growing London team.

Where You'll Make Your Mark

This opportunity is heavily project-focused, with the majority of your time spent leading and delivering refurbishment and remediation schemes ranging from £500k to £15m.

You'll take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, acting as Contract Administrator, Employer's Agent or Lead Consultant, while working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.

Typical schemes include:

• Major façade and building safety remediation works
• External envelope refurbishment projects
• Internal common parts upgrades
• High-value private residential refurbishments
• Mixed-use and education sector developments

For someone who enjoys seeing projects come to life rather than spending every day writing reports, this offers the perfect balance of technical surveying and hands-on delivery.

You'll fit right in with the following: 

• You're MRICS or actively working towards your APC.
• You have experience within a consultancy environment.
• JCT contracts are second nature to you.
• You enjoy leading projects and coordinating design teams.
• You have a strong understanding of modern building legislation and safety standards.
• You're organised, commercially aware and enjoy building long-term client relationships.
