Crawley, West Sussex – £70,000+ + Bonus + Benefits

I am working with a highly regarded multi-disciplinary property consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Associate Building Surveyor to join its growing Building Consultancy team in Crawley.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced MRICS Building Surveyor who is looking for greater autonomy, increased responsibility and the opportunity to play a key role in developing both client relationships and the wider Building Consultancy offering across Sussex and the South East.

The Opportunity

Based from the Crawley office, you will work closely with senior leadership and the wider Building Consultancy team, delivering a diverse portfolio of professional and project-based instructions across commercial and residential property.

The role offers considerable autonomy and the opportunity to take ownership of client accounts, manage your own instructions and contribute directly to the continued growth of the regional business.

Your workload is likely to include:

• Building surveys and pre-acquisition advice

• Technical due diligence and condition surveys

• Dilapidations and schedules of condition

• Contract administration and project management

• Refurbishment and planned maintenance projects

• Defect diagnosis and technical advisory work

• Development monitoring and reinstatement cost assessments

• Client relationship management and business development

You will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients while developing your own network and contributing to the continued expansion of the Building Consultancy team across Crawley, Sussex and the wider South East.

About You

We are looking to speak with MRICS Building Surveyors operating at Senior Surveyor, Associate or Senior Associate level who are ready to take on greater responsibility within a growing consultancy.

You will ideally have:

• Strong commercial Building Surveying experience

• A well-rounded background across professional and project-based work

• Excellent technical, analytical and report-writing skills

• Strong client-facing and communication abilities

• A commercially focused approach

• Experience managing client relationships and instructions independently

• An interest in business development and winning new work

• The ambition to develop your career within a senior position
