London / Hybrid – £65,000–£75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

I am working exclusively with a highly regarded and growing multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Building Surveyor to join its London team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS Building Surveyor looking for a role with genuine variety, strong project exposure and the opportunity to progress within a growing business.

The consultancy works across a broad range of sectors and has a strong pipeline of projects throughout the UK, working with major private and public sector clients. You will also benefit from working alongside specialists across project management, cost management, engineering and the wider built environment.

The Role

You will work across both professional and project-based Building Surveying instructions, taking responsibility for your own projects while working closely with the wider team.

Your work will include:

• Technical due diligence and technical reporting

• Building surveys and defect diagnosis

• Dilapidations

• Contract administration and project management

• Specification and tender documentation

• Site inspections and project monitoring

• Managing multiple live projects

• Supporting clients throughout the property lifecycle

• Developing and strengthening the Building Surveying service

You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across a variety of sectors, with exposure to complex buildings and multidisciplinary project teams.

About You

I am keen to speak with MRICS Building Surveyors who have a strong professional and project background and are looking for their next step.

You will ideally have:

• MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.

• Strong Building Surveying experience.

• Experience across Contract Administration and Project Management.

• Good technical reporting and due diligence experience.

• Strong knowledge of specifications, tendering and construction.

• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

• The ability to manage projects independently while working effectively within a wider team.

• A commercial approach and an interest in developing the Building Surveying service.
