Building Surveyor

Carriera is working with a dynamic, independent property and construction consultancy to appoint an Assistant Building Surveyor or Building Surveyor to its growing London team.

The role:

You will join an established building surveying team, working across a varied portfolio including:

• Commercial offices
• Industrial and logistics
• Residential property
• Refurbishment and fit-out projects
• Contract administration
• Planned maintenance and refurbishment
• Dilapidations
• Technical due diligence
• Defect diagnosis and building pathology

The position can be tailored around your current level of experience. The business is happy to consider someone approaching their APC, an experienced Assistant Building Surveyor with 2+ years' industry experience, or a recently qualified MRICS Building Surveyor.

What they are looking for

• Degree or masters in building surveying or a related discipline
• Circa 2+ years' relevant experience
• Working towards MRICS or recently chartered
• Consultancy experience would be advantageous
• Good technical building surveying knowledge
• Commercially minded with strong communication skills
• Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing SME
