A high-calibre, boutique building surveying practice is seeking an experienced Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to join their growing team. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a highly specialised firm with an exceptional reputation and a strong pipeline of private-sector work.

The business is intentionally lean (two senior specialists at present), allowing you to work closely with established industry experts and gain direct exposure to high-value projects, leadership decision-making, and accelerated career progression — with a clear path to Director level.

The Role

You will take a lead role in delivering core building surveying services across a high-quality client base that includes:

• Commercial landlords & tenants
• High-net-worth private clients
• Developers and investment funds
• Professional services clients seeking premium consultancy

Key service lines include:

• Technical Due Diligence & Pre-Acquisition Surveys
• Dilapidations (Landlord & Tenant)
• Project Management & Contract Administration
• Building Pathology & Defect Analysis
• Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Party Wall & Neighbourly Matters (advantageous)

About You

You will be:

• MRICS qualified
• Experienced in delivering professional and project-related BS services
• Comfortable operating with autonomy and managing client relationships
• Ambitious, commercially aware, and keen to help shape a growing practice
• Ideally coming from a similar advisory-led, commercial surveying environment
