Chartered Building Surveyor – London & Oxford

A leading building consultancy is looking for an experienced and ambitious Building Surveyor to join their London and Oxford teams. What You’ll Do

As a Building Surveyor, you will:

• Lead and manage a wide range of commercial, residential, and specialist projects, including major refurbishments, office fit-outs, industrial, logistics, and hospitality developments.
• Conduct building condition surveys, defect diagnosis, and building pathology assessments.
• Provide expertise in party wall matters, dilapidations, and employer’s agent services.
• Coordinate design, administer contracts, and monitor projects from inception to completion.

You’ll have the chance to work on projects of all sizes, from detailed surveys to large-scale redevelopments exceeding £65 million, gaining exposure to a breadth of work rarely available elsewhere.

• Leading operators across education, hospitality, retail, and R&D sectors.

You will be supported by a team of experienced Directors and Senior Associate Directors, who are committed to mentorship, professional development, and ensuring you have the guidance to progress your career.

About You

• Ideally Chartered or working toward RICS accreditation. 14 months of APC diary recorded or via the preliminary route,
• Strong technical knowledge across building surveying disciplines.
• Experienced in project management, contract administration, or employer’s agent work.
• Confident in communicating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working on complex, high-value projects.
