Senior Building Surveyor

Position: Senior Chartered Building Surveyor (Commercial Focus)
Location: London
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Carriera is partnering exclusively with a leading global real estate consultancy to recruit a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor with commercial experience.

Our client is a property consultancy with a network of offices spanning the globe. With a reputation for excellence and a diverse portfolio of exciting projects and clients, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and highly regarded firm.

Due to continued growth and internal success, they are looking to expand their commercial team with a Senior Building Surveyor. This is a project-focused role within a close-knit team of 8 professionals, where you will have the opportunity to lead and deliver high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing project delivery and contract administration for commercial projects, with values up to £3 million.
• Providing expert services such as dilapidations, Technical Due Diligence (TDD), and landlord & tenant advice.
• Collaborating closely with clients to deliver outstanding results and increase the volume of instructions through business generation and relationship-building.
• Supporting colleagues across various disciplines to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster a collaborative and growth-focused team culture.

Key Requirements:

• MRICS with 0-2 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Proven experience in delivering commercial projects and professional services, with a strong focus on project management and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build lasting relationships.
• High attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
• A background in commercial property surveying, ideally with exposure to dilapidations, TDD, and landlord & tenant matters.
