A leading national property consultancy is looking to appoint an MRICS Senior Building Surveyor to join its Cambridge-based Building Consultancy team. The role offers a genuine opportunity to take ownership of key client relationships while delivering a diverse portfolio of technical and project-led instructions across the commercial property sector.

The Opportunity:

Working alongside an experienced and well-established team, you’ll manage a variety of professional and project work, with a strong emphasis on:

• Contract administration and project management for refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance schemes
• Dilapidations (both landlord and tenant)
• Technical due diligence and pre-acquisition surveys
• Building pathology and defect diagnosis
• Reinstatement cost assessments
• Planned maintenance and lifecycle reporting

About you:

• Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with post-qualification experience
• Confident delivering both professional and project services
• Skilled in client liaison, with a commercial and pragmatic mindset
• Strong technical background with excellent report-writing ability
• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team
