Carriera have recently been tasked with the sourcing of a new hire for one of the UK’s leading real estate companies. The company are a slick, British brand, who’s Building Consultancy division are absolutely thriving, and hence the need for this new addition to specifically service assets within the residential space.
The workload will span the prime and super prime markets, and properties will be a complete mixture of prime post-coded townhouses to country estates; the role therefore will require elements of travel – typically within London and the Home Counties.
Sitting within a broader established ‘commercial’ team, this hire, will be the ‘go to’ for all residential Building Surveying matters, and will have lots of autonomy with regards to the vision and growth of this specialist residential division. Therefore, the successful hire, should possess the ability to work autonomously, with high levels of responsibility and have had experience nurturing internal relationships, alongside external clients, specifically HNWIs.
The role is envisioned to be more ‘technically’-lead initially and will encompass all elements of pre-purchase advice. As the division grows however, there should be scope to develop the team and expand the offering, to include aspects of maintenance, new build and refurbishment advice.
