A leading construction consultancy firm is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The company has over 40 years of experience delivering sustainable and impactful projects across various sectors, providing services such as Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Building Surveying, and CDM Coordination across seven UK offices.
About the position:
- Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, managing all commercial and contractual aspects.
- Lead budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and profitability management.
- Manage contracts including NEC, JCT, and other forms to ensure commercial success.
- Build and maintain strong client, contractor, and internal team relationships.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to keep timelines and budgets on track.
- Support team members and foster professional growth through mentorship and leadership.
About you:
- Minimum of 2 years PQS experience in consultancy construction project management.
- MRICS qualification, or equivalent, with clear commitment to achieving chartered status.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, design coordination, procurement, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and cost management software (e.g., CADMeasure, iTWO CostX).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
