Carriera are supporting one of the world’s leading real estate consultancies as a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor in their Bristol Building Consultancy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly regarded firm known for delivering exceptional client service, technical excellence, and innovative property solutions.

Based in the heart of Bristol, you’ll play a key role in supporting a diverse client base that includes investors, developers, and occupiers across the South West and the wider UK. The role offers an engaging mix of project and professional work, with opportunities to collaborate on high-profile commercial, industrial, and mixed-use assets.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading refurbishment and fit-out projects from inception through to completion
• Delivering technical due diligence and acquisition advice
• Providing dilapidations assessments and landlord & tenant guidance
• Undertaking building pathology investigations and condition surveys
• Preparing specifications and administering contracts

You’ll also have the chance to contribute to business development initiatives and mentor junior team members as part of a supportive and collaborative national network.

About you:

• MRICS qualified, with post-qualification experience in commercial building surveying
• A confident communicator with strong technical and report-writing skills
• Client-focused and commercially minded, with the ability to build trusted relationships
• Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
