Building Surveyor (Newly qualified or late APC)

Location: Waterloo, London

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum

At Carriera, we're working with a forward-thinking building consultancy in Waterloo that's looking to strengthen their London team. They advise major clients across the commercial, industrial, and logistics sectors and are recognised for combining technical expertise with a practical, commercial outlook.

This role offers you the chance to join a growing consultancy that will support your development and give you real responsibility from day one.

What does your work look like?:

• Delivering dilapidations advice and reports, acting for both landlords and tenants.
• Running contract administration instructions, monitoring works and ensuring compliance.
• Undertaking detailed condition surveys and advising on building defects.
• Supporting colleagues on technical due diligence, lease advice, and other general surveying matters.

You'll be given client exposure, autonomy, and the opportunity to develop into a trusted advisor within a close-knit team.

Who you will need:

• Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with c. 1 year PQE, or on the final stretch towards APC.
• Strong technical grounding in dilapidations, contract admin, and condition surveys.
• Clear, concise reporting skills.
• Commercially minded and confident engaging with clients
• Proactive, ambitious, and eager to develop within a growing consultancy.
