I’m currently working on a retained assignment with a highly respected, forward-thinking cost consultancy to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

About the position:
Leading cost management across multiple projects from inception to completion.
Preparing cost estimates, procurement strategies, tender documentation, and contract administration.
Supporting project delivery using NEC, JCT, and other key contract forms.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants to drive project outcomes.
Managing and monitoring budgets, risks, and timelines.
Providing accurate cost advice and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Contributing to a positive team culture and helping build the new Oxford office’s presence.
About you:
Minimum of 2 years’ PQS experience in a consultancy environment.
MRICS qualified or working towards chartered status.
Strong commercial understanding of construction processes.
Proven experience with NEC and JCT contracts.
Skilled in cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and project risk management.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and cost management tools (e.g. iTWOCostX, CADMeasure).
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
A proactive, collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
