A distinguished UK construction consultancy with an impressive portfolio of high-value developments is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its leadership team. This independent firm has built a strong reputation for delivering technically demanding projects with precision and integrity, and is now looking for a driven professional to help shape the delivery of its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading complex schemes under NEC contracts, ideally within the industrial or large-scale commercial sectors.

The Role:

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in driving the delivery of technically challenging and high-profile schemes, with a strong emphasis on NEC contract management. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, you’ll coordinate diverse stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, cost, and programme. The active pipeline spans infrastructure enhancements, large-scale commercial developments, and complex refurbishment projects across the UK and Europe. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management of infrastructure and commercial projects
• Administer NEC contracts (Option A & C) effectively and independently
• Manage stakeholder communication, project risk, programme, and delivery
• Oversee procurement strategy and reporting
• Provide support and mentoring to junior PMs
• Ensure project outcomes meet quality, time, and budget expectations.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Professionally qualified (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or equivalent)
• Strong NEC contract experience (essential)
• Background in consultancy project management
• Experience delivering projects in sectors such as infrastructure, commercial, or public realm
• Excellent client-facing, leadership, and communication skills
• Flexible to travel regionally as required
