Carriera is excited to partner with an international multi-disciplinary construction consultancy who have been established for over 70 years and boast a headcount of over 1800 construction professionals. Our client is recruiting for a Junior CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer with around 6 - 24 months experience to join the team out of their Croydon office advising on 2015 CDM regulations and offering a health & safety service to clients across London and the South East.

The successful candidate will be working on a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, healthcare, leisure, arts, and mixed-use projects on a regional basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer to join a forward-thinking consultancy which is going through an exciting period of growth.

Our client is ideally looking to hire someone from a consultancy background who has hands on experience with the various documentation associated with 2015 CDM Regs e.g construction phase plans, pre-construction information, F10's etc. but would also consider H&S professionals from a contractor background.

Responsibilities:

• Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base across the built environment.
• Manage the H&S file, review construction phase plans, maintain pre-construction information and conduct design risk reviews.
• Attend design team and client meetings and offer advice relating to risk.
• Provide a CDM Advisor service to clients.
• Ensure all RAMS are in place on projects.
• Carryout site safety inspections and site safety audits
• Develop new and existing client relationships.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• Professional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable).
• Good knowledge and hands on experience of 2015 CDM Regulations including all associated documentation.
• Have worked in the property & construction sector in the last 24 month's in a H&S capacity.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
