We have a fantastic opportunity for a graduate building surveyor to join a brilliant multi-disciplined construction consultancy’s Cambridge office.

The Company:

Our client is an established multi-disciplined construction consultancy, they have a network of offices through the UK and provide a rounded service to the construction and property industry.  Their Cambridge office is a market disruptor, challenging the status quo and is quickly being recognised as an employer of choice. The office offers design, building surveying and project management services to the university, colleges, schools, landlords and developers.

The Position:

-        You will report in to an associate building surveyor and in turn department lead.

-        You will be mentored and shadow the senior building surveyors, taking on more responsibility and autonomy within the business as you gain experience within building surveying.

-        Study towards completing your APC, keeping your diary up to date with the latest information.

-        Deliver a rounded building surveying service offering from project to professional duties.

  • Condition Surveys

About you:

-        You will have recently graduated as a Building surveyor

-        Be wanting to complete your RICS

-        Experience with Auto CAD is desirable.

-        You will be inquisitive, a natural problem solver and able to work independently or as part of a team.

-        Have a strong grasp of the written word, able to write technical reports in a concise manner.

-        You will have good IT skills, conversant in Microsoft office and able to build excel spreadsheets.
