Our client is a London-based project and building consultancy with a nationwide network of offices and a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across multiple sectors. They are seeking an Associate Director to establish and lead a new fire safety capability, embedded within the wider consultancy and aligned to existing service lines.
About the Position
As Associate Director, you will be responsible for setting up and leading the company’s fire safety function. This will include advising on fire safety risk across the current portfolio, commissioning and overseeing fire risk assessments and surveys, and and developing fire strategies to manage compliance and risk. Alongside technical leadership, you will play a key role in business development, supporting client engagement, identifying opportunities within the existing portfolio, and helping to grow the safety offering.
About You
You are a Chartered Fire Engineer with significant experience leading fire safety projects across multiple sites or portfolios. You have the expertise to set fire safety strategy, manage complex assessments, and ensure compliance across diverse building types. You are ambitious, motivated to build and lead your own team, and capable of influencing senior clients and colleagues alike. Experience within a multidisciplinary consultancy or advisory environment is highly desirable.
