A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a project quantity surveyor by a well-established property and construction company in Glasgow, Scotland.

This commitment goes all the way to how they deal with clients, the way they manager their staff members and also understanding the impacts of their projects. The company has been around for over 25 years which started off as any conventional quantity surveying firm.

The company has since then developed and begun to expand, offering a range of various services that is accessible to all types of maintenance, property design and construction projects. They operate within their Glasgow office and in regards to their current staff, they typically have a degree alongside being chartered with the membership of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).

You will be reporting directly to the director within the cost consultancy division where you will push the team forward with the objective to expand upon existing assignments. Acting as a project QS on a variety of projects whilst liaising with team members and others. This liaison is needed for the preparation of cost plans, contract documentation, tender documentation, valuations, cost reports and procurement reports.

The projects you will include commercial, educational, healthcare, private residential and others. One of the projects you would be working on will be a scholastic institute that has a project value of tens of millions of pounds. You will be a part of a team of individuals who all have extensive experience and are also highly skilled in all respects of the property and construction industry.

Ideally, you will be working towards your APC or you would be already chartered. They are looking for an individual who will has built a good foundation within the industry, working for a consultancy. This is a client facing and management role so your communication skills must be strong. You will need to have at least 5 years of experience needed for this role.
