A chartered quantity surveyor, is required by a well-established practice in Oxford. They are looking for an individual who is technically competent and able to shoulder responsibilities.

About the role:
You will be working on a diverse portfolio of projects through commercial, education, life-science, leisure, residential and retail. You will be responsible for leading projects valued at £150k to about £6 million, you can also be part of a bigger team working on major projects up to £100million.
One of the larger projects the team are currently delivering on is a £80 million mixed used scheme. This project is made up of retail, leisure, 5 residential blocks and over 200 student accommodation apartments.
What your responsibilities will include supporting the team leader and delegating work to junior team members who are working towards their APC. Evaluating costs and be advising on any alternative proposals. You’ll also be managing the costs of projects, preparing tendering documents and provide counsel on contract arrangements.
You will be a chartered quantity surveyor and have previous experiences working in a consultancy environment. You must be an individual who is both numerically skilful and have a methodical way working and enjoys working within a team environment.
In addition, you’ll have excellent written and oral communication skills in order to produce earnest reports and further recommendations. You must be comfortable within a client facing role, being able to converse and manage stakeholder relationships diplomatically.
