A superb opportunity for an assistant project manager to join a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy in Newcastle.

About the client; 

This position is a key appointment for the UK team, which is currently made up of three shareholding Directors, Associates, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors bringing the team to a strong 20 people. The Newcastle office comprises of one director (office lead) and two senior project managers hence this appointment is vital for them to continue service their clients.

The projects you will be overseeing are based in and around the north east. One of the key clients has a £60m industrial shed being constructed which requires project management support. Typically, the schemes they are engaged on are heavily engineered and have a high complexity level on automation, as well as very tight build programmes.

About you;

Ideally, you will have prior experience within the industrial or commercial fit-out sectors however if you have a good track record of project management with other sectors then this will be considered. The key element is that you have worked for a project management consultancy or main contractor and are client facing. Having a degree in a construction related field is ideal as is being chartered or working towards your APC at present.

Compensation; 

In return you will receive;

  • Base salary of up to £40,000
  • Car allowance
  • Up to 10% bonus
  • 5% Pension
  • Professional fees
