Carriera has a unique opportunity for an ambitious university or college graduate who is looking to get their foot in the door with a construction consultancy. Our client is a well established property & construction consultancy based in Orpington, South East London. The business has a vacancy for a Trainer Surveyor or Fire Inspector to join its fire safety team which works on a range of projects across London and the South East.

Our client has long standing relationships with local authorities and housing associations where you would be involved in residential projects along with education, healthcare, retail, commercial, senior living, and regeneration schemes.

Full training and support would be provided by the business, they would fund role specific training courses to help develop the successful applicants knowledge around building surveying and fire safety. This is a niche area in the construction sector which has a huge skill shortage at the moment and many organisations are in need of people with this particular skillset.

Requirements:

• Construction or Surveying related degree (desirable but not essential).
• Able to work independently and on one's own initiative.
• Have worked in the property & construction sector previously (desirable but not essential).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ambitious and keen to learn.
