We are pleased to be supporting the growth of an Internationally-renowned leading commercial consultancy with the appointment of a ‘strategic hire’ – namely, a lead for Technical Due Diligence. This firm is a multi-office, well established and highly regarded property company, with incredibly longstanding and established relationships.
Working within the healthcare, commercial and industrial space, this senior hire, will be a key player in supporting the establishment of the service line, and will be expected to have strategic impetus in the TDD teams’ evolution and expansion.
The Building Surveying team nationally is 90 people strong, so there exists an existing team and juniors to help in wider portfolio instructions. The brand and demand for the service line is already very strong, so this hire would not be expected to Business Develop from day one.
You’ll typically be expected to undertake the following:
About you:
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in technical building surveying encompassing inspection, building pathology, construction technology (including environmental services), and legal and regulatory compliance.
You should have the capacity to examine intricate situations, evaluate risks, and provide guidance on the technical and regulatory aspects of the asset. This requires collaborating with and interpreting third-party reports and recommendations.
Experience of working as a Chartered Building Surveyor, having progressed within a comparable commercial, London-centric practice would be ideal.
