Pioneering development, project and programme management consultancy seeks their next project manager to deliver on the world stage.

About the client;

Our client would describe themselves as a master development consultancy. In essence, they work with clients from the very outset of their brief, defining projects and programmes of work. This includes everything from strategic advice, brief development, supply chain sourcing/management and optimisation, value engineering and ultimately project delivery.

They are specialists within the sports, stadia and leisure industry, bringing to realisation many major events, on a global platform, as well as football, rugby clubs, atheletics venues and many more exciting leisure facilities.

The senior team is best in class, there is no one better to learn from, they are seen as experts within their field and pulled upon regularly by owners, leadership teams, governing bodies as trusted advisors.

About the role;

As a senior project manager, you will be working closely in a small team, leading and delivering major projects. Depending on what clients/projects you are assigned you could be involved with projects from the start helping to guide clients through all pre-contract duties or picking up all or elements of a project at a later stage. You will be delivering projects throughout the world so you must be prepared to travel on a fly in/out basis. The practice promotes agile working and will provide all the necessary support to enable this.

About you;

Having a strong track record in pre-contract duties is essential, you will have excellent stakeholder management and engagement, be adept at defining the brief, taking projects through feasabity studies, procuremnet and contract award. Post contract management and reporting is alos key. sector exposure is open, although anything experience in retail, hotels, leisure and indeed sporting venues would be well received! Ideally you will be a member of the RICS , IOB or equivalent. You will be a team player, calm under pressure, a strong negotiator and good humoured.
