Carriera is excited to partner with an independent award-winning construction and engineering consultancy who operate throughout UK. Due to growth over the past year and a number of significant project wins, they are looking to bring on board an ambitious Senior Civil Engineer to provide a range of services to their clients within the construction and engineering sectors from their Leicester office.

The successful engineer will be involved in both civil and structural engineering projects within the commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education sectors on projects up to £40 million. Our client has an established engineering team already in place working alongside building surveying and project management professionals.

Our client is interested in speaking with engineering professionals to join the team covering projects on a national basis (this role would be based from our clients offices in Leicester however you time will be split between home, office and visiting projects).

Requirements:

• Have a suitable civil engineering qualification with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
• Have experience in the design of below ground foul and surface water drainage systems.
• Be capable of overseeing the technical work undertaken by graduate and project civil engineers and assist in their training.
• Be competent in producing drawings in AutoCad.
• Be able to write full detailed drainage strategies and verification reports.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of SuDS and flood risk assessments.
• Be familiar with the MicroDrainage and/or the InfoDrainage software packages.
• Ideally have knowledge of 3D civil design software.
• Be familiar with highways design and how it interacts with drainage design.
