Location: Leeds office - Projects based on a regional basis

Salary: Up to £55,000 + excellent benefits package

Carriera has partnered with an award-winning independent construction consultancy which has been established for over 60 years. Our client operates across several different sectors offering consultancy services from their 14 offices throughout the UK.

Due to several significant project wins and ambitious growth plans, the business is recruiting for an experienced Senior CDM Consultant to join the team (currently at 3 but with plans to double this to 6 before the year ends) out of their Leeds office.

The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of projects (up to the value of £500m) including commercial, education, energy, residential, industrial, custodial, care homes, retail, science, sport, leisure, student accommodation and transportation schemes along with the business being appointed on over 80 public and private sector frameworks.

This is an exciting time in the company's history, they would be very interested in speaking with experienced H&S/ CDM professionals who are looking to take the next step in their career and further develop the CDM department.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a CDM/ H&S service to clients.
• Offer H&S/ CDM consultancy service to clients and ensure clients are fully compliant with 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Carry out site inspections/ investigations when required.
• Ensure all associated CDM documentation is up to date e.g CPP's, PCI's, H&S File etc.
• Attend design team and client meetings and offer advice on risk.
• Development of clients on a regional and national basis.

What you'll need to succeed:

• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations, Building Safety Act 2022 and other relevant H&S legislation.
• Membership to IOSH or APS.
• Full UK Driving license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
