Senior Building Surveyor

A multi-discipline practice in Manchester is looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Senior Building Surveyor. Offices are based within the heart of the City minute's walk from local bars and restaurants.

The leading building consultancy specialises in the high-end residential, mixed use, university and colleague sectors. Projects are likely to range from £500k to £6millon. Typical projects include exterior renovation contracts, internal common parts and design work, private refurbishment projects and major façade remediation schemes. The programmes are located across the local Manchester area.

We are looking for a talented and skilled Senior Building Surveyor to work across both the advisory and consultant side. This is a project focused opportunity, you will act as a lead contract administrator or consultant. You will be responsible for traditional building surveying services including defect diagnosis, planned maintenance programmes, landlord and tenant matters, reinstatement cost assessment, party wall and general advice.

Senior Building Surveyor

• BSc in Building Surveying
• MRICS qualified
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven project background, strong knowledge in JCT and NEC
• Self-motivated
• Full UK driver's licence
