Carriera is partnered with a long-established, highly reputable construction consultancy who have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Principal Designer / CDM Consultant to join a team of like-minded professionals, delivering on stunning projects for high-profile clients in London & Southeast England.

About the Role

Our client is an independent, property and construction consultancy, working across all sectors of the built environment. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic, stand-alone candidate who can hit the ground running, leading on projects of varying size and complexity, whilst also working within a larger team. You will work on both small and large projects ranging from £50k to £500m+.

You will be joining a team led by one of the equity partners and a board member. The team of people you will be working with are from diverse backgrounds and experiences and as well as being hard working they enjoy business networking, socialising and taking in part in social and sporting events. Our client has a strong focus on training and development, which creates the perfect environment in which to progress your career. Requirements:

• Degree qualified - Must have design/construction related degree (Essential)
• Qualification with the APS (IMaPS, CMaPS, RMaPS) - (Essential)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in delivering Principal Design services in compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
• Able to work on own initiative
• Personally committed to the delivery of excellent client service
• Experience working in a client focused environment - working closely with clients, updating clients on progress, while taking personal responsibility in dealing with clients and striving to exceed their expectations
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate - (Essential)
• P405 Asbestos Management in Buildings
• NEBOSH Fire Safety or similar fire related qualification
