Carriera is proud to partner with one of the UK's leading architect practices, our client is going through a significant period of growth within their CDM/ PD department and require a Junior H&S/CDM Advisor to join the team out of their offices in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning architect practice who have previously been named "The #1 Architect practice to work for" in the UK. The successful candidate will be working on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, healthcare, retail, leisure, industrial, education, manufacturing and hotel projects across London/ South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Junior H&S/ CDM Advisor to join a forward-thinking organisation at an exciting time within the business. The successful candidate will be mentored by a Senior member of staff and full training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the H&S file from project inception through to completion.
  • Carry out site inspections and audits on building projects across London.
  • Review construction phase plans (CPP).
  • Issue and maintain pre-construction information (PCI).
  • Oversee design risk register.
  • Attend design team and client meetings.
  • Provide a Principal Designer, CDM Advisor and Advisor to the Principal Designer service to clients.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
  • Professional membership to IOSH (Tech) or APS (Associate) - (desirable).
  • An understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
  • 1 - 2 years experience in a H&S/ CDM capacity in the construction sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
