Role: H&S/ CDM Advisor

Location: Oxford Office (Projects across the South)

Sector: Property & Construction

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + industry leading benefits package

Carriera is working with an independent property and construction consultancy who operate across the South of England. Our client oversees a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects and is currently recruiting for a Health & Safety/ CDM Advisor to join the business out of their Oxford office.

Our client is ideally looking to hire a H&S professional with an excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations and a background in construction H&S or site management. This is a great opportunity to join a forward thinking business which is going through an exciting period of growth, the successful candidate will join an established multi-disciplinary team of building surveyors, civil engineers, project managers, architects and H&S professionals.

The business would also consider applicants who are currently working for a Principal Contractor and are looking to move into the world of consultancy.

Responsibilities:

• Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base.
• Manage the H&S file from project inception through to completion.
• Collate construction phase plans.
• Maintain pre construction information.
• Attend design team and client meetings and offer safety advice around designs.
• Provide a CDM Advisory service to clients.
• Carryout site safety inspections and site safety audits
• Develop new and existing client relationships

Requirements:

• NEBOSH General or Construction.
• SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable).
• Membership to IOSH or APS (desirable).
• Good knowledge and hands on experience of 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Have worked in the property & construction sector for the last 2 years.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
