Salary: Up to £60,000 + excellent benefits package

Carriera is excited to partner with a boutique Health & Safety Consultancy who operate within the built environment across London and the South East. Due to growth over the last 12 months, the business is now in the position to hire a Health & Safety Operations Manager to oversee the business and to take it to the next level.

Our client oversees a diverse portfolio of projects in the construction sector (commercial, residential, education, retail, office, leisure, industrial) offering as variety of H&S services. They typically work with Principal Contractors and SME's throughout the region.

The current Director of the business is looking to step away from the operational side of the business and focus on other growth areas. The new Operations Manager will take control of the daily running of the business, management of staff, financial aspects, further development of new and existing clients.  

About you

• Previous experience in a similar capacity where you have been responsible for growth and development of a H&S department.
• Excellent technical understanding of the H&S legislation, regulations etc.
• Ideally a Chartered H&S professional through IOSH or a similar body.
• Strong commercial acumen and client focused approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
