Health & Safety Consultant

Role: Health & Safety/ CDM Consultant  

Location: London office (offices close to Aldgate)

Sector: Property & Construction 

Salary: Up to £40,000 - £45,000 + industry leading benefits package 

Carriera is working with one of the world's largest engineering and construction consultancies who are looking to appoint a H&S/ CDM Consultant within their London team. The successful candidate will work on a wide array of projects across the built environment throughout London and the South East.

Our client is an award-winning consultancy which has a reputation of delivering some of the country's most high profile construction projects. The role would suit an ambitious and competent H&S professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a business which invest heavily in its employees.

Our client would be very interested in speaking with candidates who have worked for a Principal Contractor in a H&S/ CDM capacity who have an excellent understanding the of 2015 CDM regs, and the Building Safety Act.

Responsibilities: 

• Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base.
• Carryout risk assessments, site inspections and site audits. 
• Manage the H&S file from project beginning through to completion.
• Review construction phase plans.
• Maintain pre-construction information. 
• Attend design team and client meetings.
• Provide a CDM Advisor service to clients and advise on 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards this - desirable).
• Professional membership to IOSH at Graduate level or capable of working towards this.
• Have worked in the property & construction sector for the last 2 years in a H&S capacity.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
