Role: Health & Safety Consultant

Location: London/ South East - Home Based

Salary: Up to £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + car or travel allowance (Circa £4,500)

Carriera is excited to partner with one of the UK's leading independent Health & Safety Consultancies. Our client is going through an exciting period of growth, and they now have the capacity for an experienced H&S Consultant to join their established team across London and the South East.

Our client has developed an excellent reputation in the sector by providing an outstanding service to clients for over 25 years. The business works within the construction, engineering, and manufacturing sectors in providing a variety of H&S, risk, fire safety, compliance, and environmental services across the country.

They are ideally looking for a well-rounded H&S professionals who have experience of delivering a variety of H&S services throughout their careers. Our client is happy to consider people from a principal contractor who are looking to make a move into the world of consultancy.

This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious health & safety professionals to join a leading consultancy which is looking to develop its team of consultants. This role will develop your client facing and leadership skills whilst being part of a highly successful and growing consultancy

Responsibilities:

• Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base in the construction, manufacturing, and engineering sectors.
• Ensure that all sites are CDM compliant, and the relevant documentation is in place and in date.
• Carrying out investigations into all accidents/ incidents and dangerous occurrences.
• Demonstrate a good knowledge of H&S, including CDM and Environmental legislation.
• Carryout site safety inspections and site safety audits.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH General, Construction, Environmental, Fire Certificate or Diploma (required).
• Membership to a professional body - e.g IOSH, APS, IIRSM, IEMA (desirable).
• Experience of high-risk industries - construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK Driving license.
