Role: Health & Safety Advisor

Location: London office (close to Liverpool Street)

Sector: Property & Construction

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + excellent benefits package

Carriera has partnered with an independent construction and real estate consultancy that operates on a national and international level. The business has been operating for over 30 years and offers a range of professional services to their clients across the built environment including project management, building surveying, cost management and H&S/ CDM.

Their portfolio of projects is vast with schemes in the commercial, education, healthcare, residential, industrial, hotel, leisure, heritage, retail and utilities sectors across the country.

Due to ambitious growth plans heading into 2024, they are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor who is looking to take the next step in their career and join their London office offering a range of H&S/ CDM services to their clients in the region.

Our client would be very interested in speaking with Military leavers and H&S professionals who have worked for a Principal Contractor who are now looking to enter the consultancy world.

Duties:

• Undertake the role of CDM Advisor for our client offering advice relating to 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and ensure RAMS are in place for projects.
• Preparation of all association documentation relating to CDM 2015 construction phase plans, pre-construction information, F10's, H&S file etc.
• Ensure RAMS are in place for each project.
• Attend design and client team meetings advising on risk/ H&S legislation during.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• Membership to APS or IOSH (desirable).
• CSCS Card (desirable).
• Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
