Carriera has partnered with one of the UK's leading construction and engineering consultancies who are recruiting for a Director/ Partner to lead their fire consultancy team out of the London office. Our client has a rich history with 13 offices across the UK, boasting a headcount of 1500+ employees where they offer a variety professional services to their clients throughout the built environment.
The department in London currently turns over £500,000 per annum with aspirations to grow this to £3m by 2030. They offer a range of fire safety services including fire risk assessments, compartmentation surveys, fire strategies, project manage remedial works, and general fire compliance advice.
The business has key relationships across London with the Met Police, Local Authorities/ Housing Associations, Universities & Colleges, Hotels, and Commercial organisations.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced senior level fire safety professional who has previous experience of managing a team of fire safety professionals (the London team currently sits at 4). They will have overall commercial responsibility for the department, expected to manage and deliver on commissions, along with develop new and existing client relationships and further develop and grow the business unit.
