Graduate Building Surveyor

Based in the harmonious town of Godalming, operating with clients on a local, national and global basis. The firm we are representing provide project management services, predominantly within the commercial space, across warehouse, retail, logistics, offices, and mixed-use development.

Working with the likes of occupiers, investors, developers, and owners. You’ll have the opportunity to work on complex projects, gaining greater value exposure as well as engaging with clients, such as Blackrock, Rolls Royce and DHL to name a few.

About the role:

The opportunity will see you working alongside a talented team of chartered and graduate building surveyors. Projects vary in size from a few hundred thousand to schemes that cover 2 million sq. ft. The projects are heavily engineered and have a high complexity level of automation, as well as very tight build programs. You will be reporting to the shareholding director and team lead, where some of your day to day duties will consist of contract administration, surveys and report writing, defect diagnosis, project management, TDD and dilapidations to name a few.

About you:

The suitable candidate will hold a RICS accredited degree and are either chartered or enrolled on to the APC Pathway. Ideally, you will have 12 months experience working for consultancy or private practice. The team is looking for somebody with personality, flare, and ambition. You will be expected to engage with clients on a day to day basis, so it is important that you are confident in your advice and work you provide.
