Compartmentation Specialist – National Role
A highly respected multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to lead its compartmentation services across surveying, compliance, and technical teams. This firm, known for providing top-tier surveying, engineering, project management, and fire safety services across England and Wales, is at the forefront of addressing the significant challenges facing the built environment, particularly in high-risk sectors such as residential, mixed-use, and student accommodation buildings.
As a Compartmentation Specialist, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing and remediating compartmentation deficiencies within multi-occupied buildings. This includes conducting thorough assessments of fire strategies, identifying fire risks, and advising on remediation options and strategies, all while ensuring compliance with relevant building safety legislation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of building construction, fire safety standards, and compartmentation systems, along with a detailed understanding of statutory regulations such as the RRFSO, Building Safety Act, and Building Regulations. While professional qualifications are desirable, they are not an absolute requirement for the role. A thorough understanding of passive fire protection and compartmentation solutions will be essential.
