Role: Fire Door and Passive Fire Inspector

Location: Stafford office - Projects across Midlands, North West, South West, London and Wales (Home based role)

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 (dependant on experience) + company vehicle + excellent benefits package

Carriera is excited to partner with an independent compliance consultancy who operate across the UK. Our client is looking to develop their fire safety team with the addition of Fire Door Inspectors and passive fire surveyors to join the business covering projects across the Midlands, North West, South West, Wales, London and other parts of the UK.

The role would be remote with expectations that the successful candidates will be supported in managing a portfolio of clients. (It is worth noting that travel is expected with the role to various projects, and there is the potential that you could stay away from home 2 - 4 nights per week).

The position would require the delivery of fire door surveys and compartmentation surveys. Our client is ideally looking for people who have experience of working on the following sectors due to the nature of the work - residential (social housing), education, local government, construction, commercial, healthcare or facilities management.

The business would be interested in speaking with professionals from the building and construction sector who are looking to move into fire safety compliance who are interested in forging a career within the sector.

About you

• FDIS (Fire Door Inspection Scheme) - (desirable) If not currently holding qualification, then training will be given
• Experience of delivering compartmentation and fire door surveys (desirable).
• Experience in building in construction trade
• Full UK driving license and access to vehicle.
• Willing to increase knowledge and skills
