We have been appointed to secure an experienced, team leading, Director Cost Manager by a well regarded top Construction Consultancy.
This position has been created as we are looking for a successor to take responsibility for an established quantity surveying team.
The firm has network of offices through the UK and Internationally, from which they provide a full range of construction consultancy services. They are privately owned and the shareholders are all fee earners in their own right, as well as leaders of the business. The company although well established doesn't have the corporate, face less feel of some businesses, they are more considered, caring of their teams well being and offer long term careers.
The role, you will be regional/ office lead, responsible for an established team of quantity surveyors, who work through a full range of sectors. You will be responsible for client management, winning new instructions and developing service capability.
The individual will come from a consultancy background, will be professional, well connected, technically excellent, have a natural ability to lead teams and desire to take on responsibility, as well as grow client relationships. You will be used to working in the Greater Manchester market, on mid to large complex projects that are technically challenging, ideally within commercial or residential sectors but other key sectors will be considered. It is essential that you are a chartered quantity surveyor, MRICS.
In return you will be well paid, given full support to help develop and grow the practice, as well as service offerings. Be given clear profit and loss responsibility, with a high percentage of profit to distribute to your team.
