Day rate - £200 per day

Contract length: 3 - 6 months (start date February 2023)

Carriera is excited to partner with a Construction Health & Safety Consultancy who operate within the built environment across the UK. The business requires a contractor H&S Advisor to join the team for 3 - 6 months to assist on a key project based in West Bromwich in the West Midlands.

The organisation is ideally looking for a well-rounded H&S professional who has experience of delivering a H&S/ CDM service within the construction sector and has previous experience of overseeing H&S on concrete formwork, reinforcement, and piling.

Responsibilities

• Offer a variety of health & safety services to our diverse client book of sub and principal contractors.
• Carryout site safety inspections and site safety audits.
• Ensure that all sites are CDM compliant, and the relevant documentation is in place and in date.
• Compile Pre-Construction Information, Construction Phase Plans & manage the H&S File.
• Demonstrate a good knowledge of H&S and CDM legislation.
• Reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
• Complete accident investigations.

About you

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
• Construction experience health and safety or otherwise.
• Membership to IOSH (desirable).
• Good knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
