PROJECT MANAGER (Building Surveying background)

Carriera are pleased to be working exclusively with a highly prestigious and celebrated, Central-London based estate, on the search for a Project Manager. The portfolio is world-renowned, rich in heritage and encompasses predominantly commercial and retail assets, most of which is based in Central London, with a small proportion in Berkshire.

The Role:

This role involves leading project design, planning, team coordination, and ensuring timely, budget-friendly delivery of results. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and maintaining effective communication with management, clients, and relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure compliance with all development documentation, processes, and procedures.
• Manage project lifecycles, including team assembly, stakeholder engagement, and risk analysis.
• Define project scope, objectives, and budgets; create detailed plans and track progress.
• Lead conflict resolution and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor performance, adjust plans as needed, and document results.
• Coordinate resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
• Drive planning sessions, funding proposals, and periodic reviews using best practices.
• Foster a culture of continual learning and collaboration to meet business goals.

Leadership & Team Management:

• Train and onboard new team members and third-party suppliers, ensuring readiness for roles.
• Maintain health and safety as a priority while identifying potential risks.
• Provide direction, regular feedback, and promote company values through leading by example.
• Cultivate an inclusive and motivating work environment focused on exceptional delivery.
• Conduct performance coaching and encourage team development and progression.

About you:

The perfect candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, along with at least five years of project management experience. Ideally you will have MRICS/ MAPM qualification. A strong history of successful project management and the ability to effectively oversee multiple projects at once is essential.
