About Our Client:

Our client is a leading consultancy known for their high calibre construction advice and management of schemes. They have a strong capability in delivering high-quality fire engineering solutions across a broad range of sectors, with institutional investors, developers and charities. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and client satisfaction, they are expanding their London team and are seeking a talented Chartered Fire Engineer at Associate or maybe more senior. Role Overview:

As an Associate Chartered Fire Engineer, you will play a key role in leading fire engineering commissions, interfacing directly with clients, and helping to develop and expand the fire engineering service offering in London. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering innovative fire safety solutions for complex and high-profile projects and existing assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring the delivery of bespoke fire engineering solutions. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

Project Leadership: Lead fire engineering commissions from inception through to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.

Service Development: Work closely with senior leadership to develop and enhance the fire engineering service offering in London. Contribute to business development activities and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.

Technical Excellence: Provide expert advice on fire safety design, strategy, and compliance, ensuring that all work meets regulatory standards and best practices.

Team Collaboration: Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Promote knowledge sharing and continuous professional development within the team.

About you:

You must be a Chartered Fire Engineer with a recognised institution (e.g., IFE, CIBSE). Proven experience in fire engineering, with a strong portfolio of projects across various sectors. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage client relationships effectively.  In-depth knowledge of fire safety codes, regulations, and best practices. Experience with performance-based fire engineering is highly desirable. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely. A forward-thinker with a passion for developing innovative fire safety solutions.
