Excellent opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a commercial property agency in Birmingham. An opportunity to provide advice on exclusive schemes up to £4million across the Midlands and surrounding home counties. My client manages a prestigious client portfolio that includes large developers, financial institutions, blue chip corporations and high net-worth individuals.

A sociable and friendly close-knit bunch of surveyors who take great pride in their craft. The division provides accurate construction advice across the built environment. They predominately work across the commercial, industrial and private residential sectors. Due to organic growth and a healthy pipeline the department is now looking for a talented professional to join the team.

This is a generic building surveying role that encompasses both the professional and project disciplines. The successful Chartered Building Surveyor will deliver several multi-million pound schemes from inception to completion. You will manage external stakeholder relationships whilst spotting new business opportunities. Responsibilities include schedules of dilapidations (landlord & tenant), contract administration, technical due diligence surveys and planned maintenance programmes.

Chartered Building Surveyor

• BSc/MSc in Building Surveying
• MRICS
• Commercially aware
• Strong technical awareness
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Full UK driver's licence
