The business provides building consultancy and property management advice nationwide to an extensive portfolio of commercial clients. Clients are principally institutions, pension funds, insurance companies and property managers to name a few. The position has come about due to sustained and consistent growth.
The opportunity
The opportunity will made up of managing a full range of building surveying instructions, across a variety of properties including office, retail and industrial. The workload will be evenly balanced across project and professional services and will see you acting as contract administrator on projects that typically range up to £30m. Professional services advice includes defect diagnosis, dilapidations, due diligence, pre-acquisition surveys to name a few.
About you
The successful chartered building surveyor will be RICS qualified, experienced in working for a consultancy or private practice. You will be somebody who can work well within a team with excellent communication skills and capabale in managing your own projects. It is important that you are driven, ambitious and confident in your approach to work.
