Role: Health & Safety/ CDM Advisor

Location: London office - hybrid working environment

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + excellent benefits package

Carriera has partnered with a well-established independent property & construction consultancy who operate across the South East. Our client offers a variety of professional services to their clients in the built environment including - building surveying, quantity surveying, project management, and H&S/ CDM.

The successful candidate will be involved in a portfolio of projects valued in the region of £20k - £270 million across our clients 13 core sectors, the main sectors that they currently working across are Education, Retail, Residential - new-build, refurb, cut & carve with the projects based throughout London and the Home Counties.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation which is going through an exciting period of growth, the role would suit someone from a consultancy setting or a H&S professional who is working for a Principal Contractor and looking to make a move into the world of consultancy.

Responsibilities:

• Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base.
• Carryout risk assessments, site inspections and site audits.
• Manage the H&S file from project inception through to completion.
• Review construction phase plans.
• Maintain pre construction information packs for the client.
• Attend design team and client meetings resolving design related H&S issues.
• Provide a CDM Advisor service to clients and offer advice on 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent (essential).
• APS membership (desirable).
• IOSH membership.
• Excellent knowledge of 2015 CDM regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
