CDM Consultant / Principal Designer

Carriera has partnered with an independent, multi-disciplinary property & construction consultancy who are looking to develop their team in London with a competent Health & Safety, CDM Consultant / Principal Designer.

The business has been operating for over 60 years and offers a range of professional services to their clients across the built environment including project management, building surveying, cost management, health and safety / CDM.

Their portfolio of projects is vast with schemes in the commercial, education, healthcare, residential, industrial, hotel, leisure, heritage, retail, and public sectors.

They are recruiting for health & safety professional who has previously delivered on numerous CDM projects, requires minimal supervision, and is now looking to take the next step in their career by joining a well-respected organisation with stunning projects & amazing client exposure.

Duties:

• Undertake the role of CDM Advisor / Principal Designer for our client offering advice in relation to 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Preparation of all association documentation relating to CDM 2015 construction phase plans, pre-construction information, F10's, H&S file etc.
• Ensure RAMS are in place for each project.
• Attend design and client team meetings advising on risk / H&S legislation during.
• Providing general health & safety consultancy services and on-site H&S support.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Qualification (General Certificate) and/or relevant design related qualification
• Membership of IOSH/IIRSM/CIOB (preferable)
• Proven track record of CDM/H&S experience
• Working knowledge of the principals of design risk management
• Experience applying the CDM Regulations and delivering an advisory service.
