CDM Consultant

Carriera has a great opportunity for a senior CDM advisor to implement CDM 2015 guidelines and advise health and safety procedures & legislation, on exciting construction projects within the region. Carriera is proud to be working with a long-established & very reputable consultancy, who are looking to going through a period of growth, expanding their health and safety team in Manchester.

Our client, established in 1991, is a multi-disciplined property & construction consultancy who operate across the UK, Ireland & mainland Europe with a diverse portfolio of projects in the commercial, education, healthcare, residential, industrial, hotel, leisure, heritage, retail and utilities sectors. Now with circa 500 employees, they have built a well-respected, reputable name within the industry.

This role is 95% desk based, with a focus on writing reports and CDM related documentation, meaning you will not spend much time on site.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Undertake the role of CDM Advisor for our client offering advice relating to 2015 CDM Regulations
• Ensure RAMS are in place for each project.
• Preparation of all association documentation relating to CDM 2015 construction phase plans, pre-construction information, F10's, H&S file etc.
• Attend design and client team meetings advising on risk/ H&S legislation.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• Membership to APS or IOSH.
• Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
