Role: CDM/ H&S Advisor

Location: Leicester - Projects on a regional and national basis

Salary: Up to £45,000 + travel expenses + excellent benefits package

Carriera is excited to partner with an independent award-winning construction and engineering consultancy who operate throughout UK. Due to growth over the past year and a number of significant project wins, they are looking to bring on board an ambitious CDM/ H&S Advisor to provide a range of services to their clients within the built environment from their Leicester office.

Our client has an established CDM team already in place with a mixture of H&S, building surveying, and project management professionals who work collectively to offer this service.

Our client is interested in speaking with CDM/ H&S professionals to join the team covering projects on a national basis (this role would be based from our clients offices in Leicester however you time will be split between home, office and visiting projects). The organisation is ideally looking for a well-rounded H&S professional who has experience of delivering a variety of health & safety services and an excellent understanding of the 2015 CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base.
• Ensure that all sites are CDM compliant and the relevant documentation is in place and in date.
• Carrying out investigations into all accidents/ incidents, fires and dangerous occurrences.
• Compile Pre Construction Information packs.
• Development of Construction Phase Plans.
• Manage the H&S File from project start to finish.
• Demonstrate a good knowledge of H&S and CDM legislation.
• Carryout site safety inspections and site safety audits.

About you

• NEBOSH Construction or General certificate (minimum).
• Membership to IOSH or APS (desirable).
• Understanding of Building Safety Act (desirable).
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Full UK Driving license.
