Role: CDM/ H&S Consultant

Location: Central London - Projects across the region

Sector: Property & Construction

Salary: Up to £50,000 + car or travel allowance + industry leading benefits package

Carriera is working with a leading property and construction consultancy with an excellent reputation and a rich heritage spanning more than 150 years, with a big presence and focus on growth in the London.

Our client operate across various sectors within the built environment including - residential, education, healthcare, commercial, heritage, retail, leisure, manufacturing and hotel.

We are currently recruiting for an ambitious H&S/ CDM Advisor to join the team advising wide variety of projects as part of a multi-disciplinary outfit delivering principal designer and CDM services.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring projects comply with CDM 2015, making use of our policies and standard processes
• Assisting the client in discharging their duties and enacting positive H&S management
• Attending design team meetings, reviewing designs
• Engaging with and support the design team
• Familiar with all CDM documentation - PCI's, CPP's, H&S File etc. 
• Attending construction sites to complete H&S inspections and reporting to the client

Requirements:

• Practical experience in managing or providing dedicated CDM / H&S advisor services/role
• Comprehensive knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015
• Experience in either construction site safety or design (Architecture, Engineering, Surveying etc.)
• NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety preferred (or equivalent)
• Membership with IOSH or APS (desirable)
