Building Surveyor MRICS - Client Side

A prestigious West End based Estate is looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team. The successful professional will assist with the management of an impressive 100 acre portfolio in Marylebone. The major landowner is looking for a personable and technical specialist to join the building and projects department.

The project and building surveying team is responsible for development and refurbishment schemes, reactive repair works and planned cyclical repair projects. They also provide landlord and tenant advice, building defects and fire insurance reinstatement valuations. The estate owns an impressive list of assets which include, offices, residential, retail, parks and squares, ranging from single units to multi-tenanted and are more often than not listed.

The role is to report into the Director of Building Surveying and working in conjunction with the residential, commercial asset management and facilities teams. The successful candidate can expect to encompass the following:  

• Licenses to alter
• Project management
• Dilapidations
• Properties in disrepair,
• Development monitoring
• Health and safety / CDM

Chartered Building Surveyor

• BSc in Building Surveying
• MRICS qualified
• Strong technical knowledge
• Commercially aware
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills

In return

• Basic salary £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
