Building Surveyor - Landed Estate

Are you a Building Surveyor who would like to work for a Landed Estate? We are currently representing of the UK's most prestigious Estates. My client's office is based in the heart of London's West End minute's walk from Oxford Circus tube station. The Estate proudly owns over 100 acres of Zone 1 and occupies rural estates in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.

You the successful Building Surveyor will report into the Head of Building Surveying. Duties include assisting with the management of the prestigious estate and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. A generic building surveying role which has a strong focus on projects, experience in repairs, refurbishment and maintenance programmes is highly advantageous. Responsibilities include providing accurate advice to landlords and tenants and leading schemes from inception to completion. There is a healthy variation of structures including Grade I & II listed buildings and mansion blocks. 

• Planned maintenance programmes
• Contract administration
• Refurbishment
• Repairs
• Schedules of condition
• Building defects
• Reinstatement cost assessments
• CDM regulations & health and safety legislation

Building Surveyor

• BSc in Building Surveying
• Ideally started APC or working towards MRICS qualification
• Project experience
• Client facing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Keen eye for detail
• 3/4 days a week travel into the Estate
